Terms of Service

Broadway Pirate Tix is an independent interface for browsing showtimes and connecting to an existing SLFS ticketing account. It is operated by Leviathan Light and Magic, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“we,” “us”). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an agent of Salt Lake Film Society (“SLFS”), Arthouse+, or Stripe.
Your account connection
Use only an account and phone number you are authorized to access. By connecting, you authorize us to send your phone number and verification code to SLFS’s ticketing service, retain an encrypted session for your browser, and retrieve the account information needed to show your saved payment methods, benefits, purchases, and ticket options. Connecting does not authorize a purchase. You may disconnect your browser at any time. Access is currently limited to invited users who are at least 18 years old.
Ticket purchases
When purchasing is enabled, each final Pay or Confirm action authorizes the displayed order, charge to your selected saved SLFS card, and any points redemption you selected. Review the film, date, time, quantity, benefits, card, and total before confirming. We do not collect full card numbers or security codes. Card processing and any bank verification are handled through SLFS’s ticketing/payment providers. We add no service fee of our own.
SLFS and its providers control availability, admission, memberships, benefits, ticket delivery, cancellations, exchanges, and refunds. Their applicable terms also apply to your transaction. See SLFS terms and the policies shown on the official box office. We cannot promise a refund, reserve seats, or override their decisions. A quote is not a ticket or reservation.
If a request times out or an order has an uncertain status, do not submit a second purchase until you have checked your SLFS purchase history or contacted support. A charge may have succeeded even when this site did not receive confirmation.
Use the service responsibly
Do not automate account access or ticket purchases, send unsolicited verification messages, bypass access controls or rate limits, scrape private account data, interfere with the service, or use anyone else’s account or payment method without permission. We may restrict access to protect users and the ticketing service.
Availability and limits
This service depends on third-party systems that can change or become unavailable. We may pause or discontinue features, and showtimes and prices can change before an order is accepted. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of third-party information, or successful ticket fulfillment.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of this service. Our aggregate liability for claims arising from the service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid directly to us for the service during the preceding 12 months. Ticket payments made to SLFS or its providers are not fees paid to us. These limits do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including applicable protections for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or statutory consumer rights.
Privacy, changes, and contact
Our Privacy Policy explains how account connection and security data are handled. Material updates to these Terms will be posted with a new effective date; we will request renewed agreement for material changes to account connection or purchasing authorization. These Terms are governed by Delaware law, except where your applicable consumer protections require otherwise. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
